This is a metal, rectangular container in the shape of a Neiman Marcus paper bag, from the old, established luxury department store in New York. The Neiman Marcus logo is engraved on it. It has stylish wire handles. It's from New York, about 40 years ago. It looks great just sitting there. It's joined in the same way as the folds of paper, so you can't put water directly in it, but it would be lovely to put a small bottle inside and display small flowers. I don't know what metal it's made of. It has darkened like silver with age, but that doesn't mean it is silver. I think the aged texture is wonderful, so I will sell it as is, without polishing it with silver polish.
