Thank you for viewing. I purchased this on Mercari last year. The manufacturing year is 1966, over 50 years ago. The case had considerable damage, such as scratches and peeling, from the time of purchase. I'm including it to protect the instrument, not factoring it into the price. Here's the information from when I purchased it: "The exterior shows signs of age and use, with dullness and rust on the pegs. I cleaned it before listing, but some dirt remains. Please check the images. One string is broken. Sound has been confirmed. It produces sound without problems, but I don't have enough product knowledge to check further." After purchasing, I wiped it down and replaced the strings. (I think it's time to replace them again, as it's been a year.) The instrument itself also has peeling and scratches. I've only held it twice and have kept it stored away. There are no picks. Even without playing it, it has a wonderful atmosphere. There was a chip in the top nut, so I purchased a replacement for an 8-string mandolin band on Amazon, which I will include. Due to the size, shipping costs will be high, so I will not accept price negotiations. Please check the condition in the photos and consider purchasing. Thank you.
