Curve nuts are designed to contact the rock at three points, making them effective in flare cracks and piton scars. The strongly tapered head, both front-to-back and top-to-bottom, allows for easy placement and a secure hold. This curve nut package includes a set of #1 to #10. I've only used some of the sizes (#3) a few times, and the others are almost unused. There are some signs of contact with rock and minor scratches, but there is no damage that affects performance.
