Although it takes time and effort, we incorporate a boiling process to create a high-quality base (photo 3). This washes away dirt and sap, resulting in a clean and strong firewood splitting base.
Made through boiling → natural drying → indoor drying → shaping → oil finish.
Wood density (reference for strength and hardness): Japanese oak is much stronger than other tree species and is ideal for firewood splitting bases.
For compact firewood splitting bases, tree species with a density of 0.7 or higher are recommended.
