This is a child's futon made by a local futon shop. Unlike commercially available ones, it contains real cotton, so I remember it was expensive. The shikibuton (mattress) was used as a nap futon when my child was in kindergarten, so the cover is faded, but the kakebuton (comforter) was not used much, so I think it's in good condition. Since it's 100% cotton, it becomes fluffy when dried on a sunny day. These futons were used with care by multiple children. I hope someone will cherish them. If you no longer need them, you can bring them to the futon shop to have the cotton re-fluffed and remade into zabuton (floor cushions).
