This is an antique obi clasp featuring a cherry blossom motif. As shown in image 10, there is an inscription on the side. While it would be impractical to use if it were actually this shape, the gourd-shaped water flask is bent in a "く" shape, creating a dynamic design. However, this also gives it a compact and well-balanced impression without appearing stretched horizontally.
