Normally, we only sell the SSD (S size, standard version) of our basic scrapers on the flea market, but this is a limited edition. Thickness is about 1.5mm, length is 120L, the same as the SSD, but The width is about 4mm, and the blade length is about 9mm, so It has the same thickness as a standard high-speed steel scraper. Of course, it is finished to our workshop's polishing standards. Also, our workshop's scrapers are not exclusively for engraving or plastic models. In the case of high-speed steel, the corners do not stand out like carbide, so you have to sharpen it at a sharp angle to cut resin. Also, if you don't make the corners mirror-finished, it will be like a fine saw blade. Therefore, high-speed steel scrapers for plastic models tend to snag and become rough. The material of the blade is important, but the level of the sharpening work is also crucial. Our workshop's basic scrapers are finished with a mirror-finished corner at an angle close to a right angle of 85°, so they can smoothly scrape regardless of the material, whether metal or resin. Regardless of the intended use, the fact that many people praise them as being excellent for plastic models is, I believe, the reason why this basic scraper is a long-selling, popular product that is repeatedly purchased.
