Due to long-term storage, there may be some overlooked stains. I will inspect it and ship it in a clean condition, but since it can be washed at home, I think it would be reassuring for your child if you wash it once before putting it on them. Please wash it in a laundry net. The tassels may bleed color, so avoid contact with white items when wet. We have washed it at home, but we haven't noticed any particular color bleeding.
