I purchased these as plates for children, but I think anyone can use them. They are handmade by artisans and beautifully finished with lacquer. They cost 5000 yen each. They have been used, so there are some minor scratches, but no noticeable chips or damage. The mark on the back is a stamp made at the workshop, so it is not a scratch or stain (photo 3). They are sold as a set of two. Thank you.
