This is a lidded item I purchased at an antique market. I was drawn to the delicate octopus arabesque underglaze blue and brought it home. The inside features pine, bamboo, and plum (shochikubai). The rim design is a classic shihou-tasuki pattern. It's a popular piece. There is a chip on the rim. Otherwise, it appears to be kiln marks. Please check the images carefully.
