[8] Shape: Goshichi Natural Inkstone ◉ A large, solid work by a modern master, utilizing the basic natural stone of the inkstone effectively. The stone pattern expresses individuality, appearing beautifully as waves from the upper right side of the sea to the tongue, then slightly downward to the right, and from the tongue to the entire hill, then downward to the left. Furthermore, the upper edge of the inkstone is carved with rising clouds, giving a feeling of good fortune. Because of its thickness, the sea is deep, allowing for a large amount of ink to be stored.
