Dyson PureCoolMe BP01 Black/Nickel I used this near a wall with the oscillation function on, and there are quite noticeable scratches (paint peeling) on the main body. I was using it by my pillow, but I'm selling it because I've replaced it with a larger model. The filter was just replaced with a third-party compatible one. At level 10, there is a loud noise associated with the airflow, but there are no unusual sounds or odors. There are no noticeable scratches on the opposite side, so it won't be visible if you place the scratched side against a wall. I didn't even notice it until I was listing it for sale.
