Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this m(_ _)m I use one at home, and it's adorable to see them peeking out from the entrance. Inside, it's nice and dark, providing a safe space. It's large enough for adult leopard geckos and African fat-tailed geckos to completely hide inside. The inside and the unglazed ceramic dish are not painted. Avoid cleaning the painted areas with a hard brush; use a soft brush to keep it clean. I use safe, natural milk paint.
