A light green, thin linen cloth with excellent water absorption and breathability, adorned with an Encaje Ju lace stole/shawl. Encaje = Encaje is Spanish for lace, and Ju = Ju is a Guarani word combined with the word for needle. It is a simple yet high-quality lace made by embroidering patterns with needle and thread on a mesh base called Randa. Like Ñandutí, it is based on Spanish lace techniques introduced to Paraguay, and its characteristic is a coarser finish than Ñandutí.
