This is a distortion pedal for guitar from One Control. It distorts well and has a sensual sound. Above all, the fact that it can be battery-powered even in this size is a testament to great corporate effort. I bought mine used, so there may be some scratches, but the sound is normal. The following is a copy-paste of the introduction from Soundhouse: The Anodized Brown Distortion achieves a wide and high gain range of +26dB to +60dB, and at the same time, achieves a high dynamic range that you wouldn't expect from a distortion pedal. Especially the dynamic range in low-gain settings is comparable to, if not better than, a tube amp. Even with the Gain set high, you can instantly switch to compressed, clean arpeggios by controlling the picking attack and the guitar's volume. With humbucking pickups, you get a perfectly balanced, great distortion sound, and with single-coil pickups, you get a distortion with sufficient low-mids that is characteristic of single-coils. With active pickups, you can easily control the distortion. Since it is used, returns are not accepted.
