This is liquid natural rubber. It dries into a rubbery state and can be easily peeled off, making it useful for masking areas during glazing and painting. 1. Apply latex with a brush or other tool to the areas you want to protect from glaze. Draw lines or create designs. 2. After a while, it will form a transparent rubber film, masking the area. After glazing or painting, peeling off the rubber film will reveal the areas that were protected by the latex. This is suitable for separating areas for glaze or paint application. It dries quickly during use, so it's a good idea to prepare a container of soapy water and keep 2-3 brushes (or paintbrushes) in it. Switch brushes before they dry out. Soapy water won't completely remove it, so wipe it off with a cloth. It's a good idea to use brushes that are no longer suitable for painting. If stored for a long time, the rubber and water may separate (creaming). Stir the mixture occasionally. Latex contains a small amount of ammonia, so use it in a well-ventilated area.
