【 Otoso Set 】 "Otoso" is a medicinal liquor drunk on New Year's Day to ward off evil spirits of the year and pray for longevity, a traditional Japanese "beginning of the year" event. This is an old item, so there are some areas where the gold paint on the edges has chipped off. The small sake cup in photo 15 has some gold paint that has slightly overflowed on the back. (Please check each photo) Recently, the custom of drinking otoso on New Year's has been declining, but how about it as a good old Japanese "beginning of the year"? The crane design is quite charming when you look closely. There is no dedicated box. It will be carefully packed and shipped in a cardboard box.
