Pherrow's Cadet Parka Khaki Size 40 Based on vintage clothing similar to the British Army's Cadet Smock Parka, this original smock parka was created. Taking inspiration from anoraks used in mountainous regions, the length is generous, and the details follow the vintage design. The hood's drawcord features a rare gadget with a flap around the mouth for wind and cold protection. The hem has a belt to secure the front and back, with even unused details meticulously crafted. The front features large gusseted pockets at the hem, a flap, and a zippered kangaroo pocket on the chest. The waist can be cinched with a drawcord to enhance wind resistance. The zipper uses a vintage-style "42 TALON" zipper. The cuffs are adjustable with buttons. The overall sewing uses a durable felled seam construction. The fabric is 100% Ventile, which is also used by the British Army and has water-repellent properties. It has the warmth of cotton, but the tightly woven fabric becomes even more water-repellent when wet. It's a thin and lightweight material, perfect as an outer layer or worn casually like a shirt.
