There are no writings, tears, or noticeable stains, but there are some wrinkles on the cover. They are superficial and do not go through to the back. It starts with scientists spending time in a lab, and features many experimental tools and even Einstein. Recommended for parents in STEM fields, parents who want their children to be interested in STEM, and those who are raising bilingual children! This is a picture book that is difficult to obtain in Japan, so I don't think it's available in libraries either. As this is a used book, please refrain from purchasing if you cannot accept slight signs of use.
