Handmade patterned tabi socks. Size 24cm. Made with water-repellent fabric. Because of the treatment, the fabric has a slightly crisp feel, but the lining is made of knit fabric, so they are soft to wear. The soles of the feet are not water-repellent. I hate rain-soaked zori sandals. I found some water-repellent fabric and thought I could make something that would work in light rain. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to use them yet, so I don't know how effective they are. Also, the water-repellent effect is likely to diminish with repeated washing. I was looking for patterned tabi socks myself, but I couldn't find any, so I decided to make them! I made a nice pair, and now I enjoy making them so much that I have a lot of them, so I'm putting them up for sale. How about adding a little flair to your feet when wearing a kimono? I have never studied traditional Japanese clothing, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfect tabi socks. Also, I have an indoor dog. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
