Japanese musical instrument Kokiriko Sasara, folk instrument from Toyama Prefecture, Tsukushi This is a traditional instrument used in the ancient folk song "Kokiriko-bushi" passed down in Gokayama, Toyama Prefecture. I purchased it as a souvenir. There is some yellowing of the wood and minor scratches due to age, but there is no damage. It's a musical instrument with character.
