Royal Albert, a British porcelain brand A set of teapot & sugar pot "Petit Point" is a series inspired by the embroidery technique (rose pattern like cross-stitch) that originated in Vienna in the 18th century. It features a classic and lovely design with gold trim. Currently discontinued, it is a vintage item with high rarity value. "Petit Point" was a long-selling series, sold for about 80 years from 1932 to 2001. The pattern is based on Petit Point embroidery, with fine stitch patterns designed throughout. It was available in the plump Hampton shape and the clean-lined Countess shape. Cups & saucers and plates are also available.
