This is a valuable technique, and the number of artisans who can do this has been decreasing in recent years. Kilims are essential to the nomadic tent culture. They are flat-woven, have good skin separation, and are light and easy to handle, so they can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Made of 100% wool, they are warm in winter and absorb sweat and provide ventilation in summer. ✅ It has been cleaned by a local professional cleaning company and is clean after being washed three times with soap and detergent.
