I am selling several pieces of Meissen, so please take a look. Meissen Blue Onion Cup & Saucer Purchased a while ago from an antique shop in Paris. The Blue Onion pattern was introduced in 1885, and due to the large number of imitations, the "crossed swords," the Meissen mark, was incorporated into the design of the tableware. Here is one set. Another set is a plate. I was told that the absence of the crossed swords at the base of the bamboo indicates that it is an earlier antique. The color has faded somewhat, and there is a small chip on the handle, as shown in the last photo. I bought both sets because they are rare. I have enjoyed displaying them and reminiscing about my travels. Everything in the photos is included. Other boxes and accessories are not included. Not for separate sale.
