I am selling this item to organize my collection. This is a glass bottle of Kobayashi eye drops, with a cork stopper and a shoulder indentation, giving it a classic look. It appears to be quite old, and the glass has the characteristic wavy texture of old glass, along with plenty of bubbles and distortions, making for a very interesting piece. One corner is indented, which was a design feature to allow the dropper for the eye drops to be stored in the box as well. This style suggests it was used from the late Meiji to the Taisho eras. When it comes to pharmaceuticals with the name "Kobayashi," Kobayashi Pharmaceutical immediately comes to mind. However, large companies like that usually have their company name engraved on the back, and since this bottle has nothing on the back, it's unclear if there's any connection.
