This is a handmade shinobue (Japanese bamboo flute) case for playing at festivals and other events. This is Type B. It has a string tied a few centimeters from the opening. You can adjust the length to some extent by changing the folding position. Since it's new, I don't know how much the color will fade or transfer. Please understand. Depending on the person, if you pull out the top fold to take out the flute, I recommend Type A if it's in stock and the size of the shinobue fits. I've folded it for the photos, so please refer to the pattern on the front in the second photo, which is the inside-out view. It seems like it can hold about 1-2 shinobue flutes of about 16mm in diameter. It might be good for putting something that is within the shortest centimeters when folded in half, up to about 48cm long. Length: Approximately 58cm (when unfolded) Width: Approximately 5.6cm It's the type that ties with two strings sewn on the side, as shown in the photo. I can't play the flute at all, so I don't know what key/length it's for. I make them based on the lengths that my hayashi (festival music) group members have. If I have them in stock, I will also list taiko (Japanese drum) bachi (drumstick) cases. I will ship it folded, so I cannot be held responsible for any injuries. However, you might want to lightly iron it to remove the creases. Please use it gently and carefully as it is handmade. I make these as a hobby. They are not as strong as mass-produced products.
