Therefore, if you try to force them in too hard, they can easily break off at the base. (Compared to copper, they are harder and less ductile, making them more prone to breaking under impact.) Use pliers to gently insert the terminals, gripping the flat part of the terminal tip, or the flat part near the insertion point. The hole diameters at both ends of standard lead wires differ even when unused. Cartridges and headshells also have varying terminal sizes depending on the manufacturer, so be careful as you may break them during installation. If it's too tight, widen the hole slightly before inserting. We have thoroughly checked the items, and the terminals are less likely to break or deform during standard shipping compared to copper. We have also tested them by dropping them and stepping on them with shoes, and they should be fine unless intentionally damaged. Very rarely, there are cases where customers report that the items arrived broken or deformed.
