Our Bizen ware begins with crushing Bizen clay.
It is not fired in electric, gas, or kerosene kilns.
Once a year, for about two weeks, the fire is never extinguished.
It is slowly fired at a temperature of around 1200 degrees Celsius at the kiln.
It is taken out of the kiln after 10 days, lightly polished,
hand-washed, and inspected for water leaks before being shipped.
