They came with a belt, but I wanted a simpler look, so I wore them about 5 times without the belt. Unfortunately, I've lost the belt. Since I haven't worn them much, there aren't any noticeable scratches or stains, and I think they still look nice. However, there is some pilling on the back pocket area.
