It was the year the Gulf War broke out during the trip. They were displayed in a glass case. I felt a bit out of place when I displayed them with other Western dolls. I tucked them away in the back of the glass case and barely touched them. However, quite a few years have passed. Please consider any age-related wear and tear before purchasing.
