Violin Carbon Bow CodaBow Diamond GX I purchased this after hearing a player active on YouTube say, "I preferred this over bows in the 1 million yen class," and decided to try it out. As they said, it's a truly wonderful bow in terms of playability, responsiveness, balance, and more. And, as they say, you can buy skill with money when it comes to bows, but I was a little moved by how cheaply you can buy skill with a carbon bow. I myself have never used a bow that costs over 2 or 3 million yen, so I can't say what rank of pernambuco wood it would compare to, but it's certainly a remarkable bow. I was drawn to the quality of CodaBow, and I've purchased the top-of-the-line Marquise GS model, so I'm selling this one. The bow hair was replaced this fall. It's only been a few months since the change, and although it's high-quality Italian hair, it's not LUKKI, so it can be used in orchestras and ensembles. As it's a used bow, there is, of course, rosin buildup, and some aging on the bow leather, winding, and silver fittings, but overall, I believe it's in very good condition. There are only a few minor scratches, barely noticeable in the photos, and only visible if you look closely. As it's an expensive item, I will of course ship it in a bow case. I will not ship it in a box made by cutting and pasting PVC pipes or cardboard.
