Back in stock: the popular apron! ∞∞∞ We designed this apron to be similar to the training wear worn when wearing a kimono. We received requests to create a design that could be used at home, not just during tea ceremony practice, so we made this. ∞∞∞∞∞ ∞∞∞∞∞ ∞∞∞∞∞ The shoulder straps cross in the back, and by tightening the part that hits the obi (sash), you can carry items like kaishi (paper for sweets) in your pocket just like when wearing a kimono. The belt part where the fukusa (silk cloth) is placed has a cotton backing and non-slip treatment to prevent the fukusa from slipping off. We improved this because the fukusa tends to slip more easily compared to other fabrics due to the material. Reversible for both right and left handed use. The shoulder straps are long, about 114cm.
