The 7-layer multi-ply steel construction provides excellent heat efficiency. The biggest feature of Vita Magic is the knob with an openable steam vent. The wide cooking surface makes it suitable for simmering dishes. Many Vita Craft products have shifted their production bases overseas, but this is a highly-regarded American-made product. It's an excellent stainless steel pan. There are minor scratches from long-term use (washing scratches, trivet marks), but there are no warps or burnt-on oil stains. The resin parts show no deformation or degradation from heat and are still glossy. There is no looseness in the handle. I believe you can continue to use it for a long time. However, this is a used item. Please understand this before purchasing.
