① This is a large MEINL guiro. I was told there was no stock in Japan when I ordered another one. It's not even listed on the meinl.jp website. Unlike typical wooden guiros, this one has "kamaboko-shaped" ridges, and I loved its tone and ease of use. The included wooden beater didn't produce a sound I was satisfied with, so I'm including a beater that I've modified, experimenting with thickness, hardness, and shape to get a good sound. I haven't thrown away the original wooden beater. As a guide to getting a good sound, the beater has a mark (M) indicating where to place your index finger. Please see the photos. ② This is a guiro made by instrument craftsman TOKU, and it's a valuable guiro. I don't think you can get it anymore. As you can see in the photos, it's made with high-quality materials and careful craftsmanship. The two types of scrapers were also made by the same craftsman. (I also loved the wonderful sound, like a softer meringue guiro) Both have a great sound, and I was reluctant to part with them, but it's a waste for me to just enjoy the sound at home, so please use them for live performances or recordings. I've set a low price for both together. I cannot sell them separately, so thank you for your understanding.
