BIXONIC Expandora, operation confirmed. I am the first owner of this unit, which I purchased new about 30 years ago at Shinseido Rock Inn, then located in Ogikubo. This effector switches between OVERDRIVE/DISTORTION/CRUNCH using internal DIP switches, but there seems to be a FUZZ-like usage with both DIP switches OFF, which is not what the manufacturer intended. I used it as a booster, so I mainly used the CRUNCH position lightly. I checked the operation and there are no problems in each mode. Battery and DC cord connections are also OK. However, there is a small amount of crackling that disappears when the gain and level knobs are turned. The DIP switch operation is also OK. There is no looseness in the circuit board. The ON/OFF switch and LED are working smoothly. The enclosure shows scratches and corrosion on the aluminum body. This is a vintage item. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for something in the same condition as new.
