These are French military wool trousers made in 1957. The coarse wool makes them warm even in mid-winter without needing an inner layer. The hems have likely been altered to be shorter, but with an inseam of 71cm, I believe they can be worn by many people. Trousers of this type often have excessively long hems, but these are excellent in terms of usability. There is a small pinhole of about 1mm in the middle of the right leg.
