Used soft case for trombone made by Hayashi. It's larger than other soft cases, and can comfortably fit a bell up to 8 and 1/2 inches. It can also accommodate an F-attachment trombone; I tested it with a Getzen 3047AFR (a well-known open-wrap model) and it fit (it felt tighter in terms of "height" rather than "length"). Despite its lightness, it's well-made (the zipper is, of course, YKK), and the slide section is stored between two wooden boards, so I feel that the protection performance is high, at least for a soft case (other manufacturers' soft cases often use a hard foam-like material to protect the slide, which seems to protect against scratches, but you have to be careful because external bending forces can be applied to the slide). The shoulder strap is sewn on one side and has a buckle on the other side for removal. I used it several times with a traditional F-attachment tenor trombone, and the lightness was definitely an advantage, making it convenient and useful for carrying around. I've taken photos to show the condition as clearly as possible, but there are some tears, stains, and fraying. There are also some areas that show signs of aging. However, the gap in the last photo between the slide storage section and the main body may be part of the design, not a tear. It's still perfectly usable, but I unexpectedly acquired another Hayashi trombone case, and it's not rational to have two of the same thing, so I'm putting this one up for sale.
