It's sturdy and provides good protection! I chose black for work, but I'm selling it because I bought a cute color. It can be used vertically and horizontally, which is very convenient. There's a rubber band to hold a pen, and a hand strap. See photos 12 and 13. There are no noticeable stains, but there are marks from the rotating base on the back. See photo 13.
