A life cast, or life mask, is a mold of an actor's face taken directly from the actor, used as a base for special effects makeup in films. This item is a plaster cast made from such a mold. The size and details are exactly like the original. I purchased it overseas a long time ago for reference in sculpting. This particular item is of the famous actress Kate Beckinsale and is very detailed. It was likely made during the filming of the movie "Underworld." It will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioning and shipped in a cardboard box. By the way, items with open eyes are likely not life masks. Silicone cannot be applied if the eyes are open.
