I believe I purchased it over 10 years ago at a Pokémon Center and kept it attached to an emergency bag that I don't usually use. There is some deterioration of the metal, likely due to age, especially around the lobster clasp. Also, I'm not sure if it was originally like this, but the rubber material of the medal featuring Espeon and Umbreon seems to have yellowed.
