Cleaning out my great-grandfather's house, which is over 100 years old. Two vintage Naruko Kokeshi dolls. I believe they are from nearly 60 years ago. The girl doll's neck doesn't rattle. It seems the neck has stretched due to aging. The boy doll rattles with a squeak. Their expressions are very lovely, and I wonder if they are lacquered. The kimono are also very beautiful.
