I purchased this A-line coat from my favorite vintage clothing store, which mainly carries European vintage items. The design of the collar and front placket is cute, and the details are lovely, such as the stitching around the shoulders and pockets, and the contrasting fabric at the cuffs. It also has a lining, making it comfortable to wear. I loved wearing it and wore it often. The material doesn't pill, so it doesn't show much wear, but there is a small snag near the cuff (see photo 6). I haven't worn it in the last few years and have had it folded up, so please excuse the wrinkles. The biggest difference from recent designs is the size of the top part. The shoulders and arms are a bit more compact. I often wore it over a thin turtleneck and cardigan. I wore it the same way even in the dead of winter. The material is smooth, so I think it's a coat that can be worn until early spring. It's a thick fabric, but it doesn't pill. It may be a wool blend, but it doesn't seem to be only wool. It's similar to the material used in trench coats.
