This is a Wedgwood Jasperware "Dancing Hours" demitasse cup and saucer set. This stoneware was completed in 1775 by the founder, Josiah Wedgwood. It is characterized by its matte texture and delicate white relief decorations. Many designs are based on ancient Greece and Rome, and this "Dancing Hours" is one of them.
