This float is handmade by me. I've priced it as low as possible for fellow fishing enthusiasts, and I've poured all my technical know-how into its creation with the concepts of durability, sensitivity, and stability in mind. ◇First, I'll explain the meaning of the 10-13 type. The first number, 10, represents the weight of the sinker in "go" (a Japanese unit of weight). In the photo, the boundary between green and black indicates the water surface when a 10-go sinker is used. The latter number, 13, represents the buoyancy of the float when the sinker and bait cage/chum are combined, indicating a 13-go buoyancy. In reality, there is some additional leeway. ◇Specifications: Total length is 34cm, weight is 14.0g, and the wing width is 7.5cm. ◇Next, regarding the structure and features: The main body is made of styrofoam and has been triple-coated. The green part uses fluorescent paint. The lower part is equipped with stainless steel and a balance weight of several grams, fixed to the main body, which mitigates the effects of waves and stabilizes the float's posture. Its slim shape also minimizes any discomfort for the fish, allowing for sensitive detection of bites. A rotatable wing is attached to the upper part, making it resistant to crosswinds and maintaining its vertical orientation. Furthermore, the wing size has been increased and treated with fluorescent paint, ensuring good visibility. ◇Additionally, a Φ3mm tube is attached to the wing, allowing for the attachment of a size 37 chemical light stick, making it usable for night fishing. ◇As a side note, based on my practical experience, I've found that the 10-13 type pairs well with a 10-go "ippatsu-kago" (a type of bait cage). This is likely due to the amount of chum used. If you use a lot of chum, the 12-15 type would be a safer choice. ◇Notes and requests: The shaft is made of a bamboo skewer for weight reduction, so please handle it with care. The wings are prone to deformation, so please use the provided support material during shipping to prevent this.
