This is a boro haori (jacket) made by an artist. Except for the base haori, the boro (patches of worn and mended cloth) are sewn on by hand in a patchwork style. I haven't worn it much, and have kept it as part of my collection. The artist said they wanted you to spend time with it, mending and adding patches if it tears. Also listed elsewhere.
