It is handmade in Italy and made of 100% silk. The fabric is firm, high-quality silk with a smooth, pleasant feel and good thickness, making it easy to create a dimple. I am selling it because I have fewer opportunities to wear ties for work and I have accumulated too many. The reason I marked the condition as "slightly damaged or with stains" is because there is a 5mm-ish faint stain as shown in the photos. It's barely noticeable unless you get very close, but please check the photos. Otherwise, I believe it is in generally good condition without any noticeable scratches, stains, or fraying. The item has been dry cleaned, but please understand that there may be some creases from folding during shipping and storage.
