This is an Art Deco Old Noritake piece from 1912 (Taisho 1). The backstamp is the popular RC (Royal Crockery) "Yajirobe" mark. I purchased it from the owner of a long-established coffee shop, who was reluctant to sell it. Cup diameter: 8.3cm Height: 6.5cm Saucer diameter: 13.5cm Capacity (full): 125cc This piece is a masterpiece that can be used daily, with a simple form that combines Cubism, inspired by the West, and Japanese elements, achieved by stripping away various techniques.
