This item was gifted to me in 1974 by a tea ceremony instructor, but it has been stored away with little use. Sometsuke (blue and white) hexagonal small bowls, square bowls, Japanese tableware, 5 pieces, auspicious objects. Can be used as a tea ceremony mukouzuke (appetizer bowls) or small bowls for kaiseki cuisine. A set of five hexagonal small bowls from the Showa period, Arita-yaki, diameter 12cm, height 6.5cm. Based on the backstamp and the mesh pattern, it is believed to be from the Kisuke Tatebayashi kiln, but it is not certain as there is no original box. I hope you will find them useful.
