Especially, fish meal is an important nutrient that affects the taste of the eggs, so we use fresh, additive-free, made-to-order bonito fish meal sourced from Kyushu. My chickens do not have their beaks trimmed, so they can peck at hard things like potatoes and pumpkins during the winter when green feed is scarce.
