This is a Major Craft trout rod, the FTG-42/485UL. It's a spinning rod that can be switched between 4.2ft and 4.8ft lengths by attaching or detaching the included optional butt section. It's a 5-piece pack rod, so the closed length is a compact 35cm, and it comes with a semi-hard case and a bag. The latest UD glass is crisp and ultralight, yet it firmly absorbs the pull of large fish, allowing you to land them without unnecessary thrashing. I purchased it in 2023 and carried it as a spare rod for stream fishing, but I rarely used it.
